No man at a bachelor party wants to be the first one filmed saying something sincere in front of ten people he plays football with. Leave the code on the table with an open invitation and you will collect two messages, both from the same person.
Record yours in front of the group, badly, then hand the phone to whoever is next to you and say who is after him. Once two have gone the rest stop treating it as a performance, and the ones who complained loudest usually record the longest.
Late organising is not a problem here
Bachelor parties get booked late, and anything that has to be printed, shipped or ordered in advance is the first thing dropped. That is why the guest book part usually never happens.
