A video guest book for your wedding, filmed on guests' phones
This is the video version of a guest book, not a paper one. Guests open your link or scan your QR code and send their messages from their own phones.

A wedding video guest book is a digital guest book where guests send video messages from their phones instead of writing in a paper book. You create it, then share one link by message and display one QR code at the venue. Guests film or pick a video of 1 minute at most, with no app and no account. You receive every video, the photo album, the written messages and 2 films.
How it works, from setup to the last message
You create your video guest book
You set up your wedding and get one link and one QR code. The link is for sending by message, WhatsApp or email. The QR code is for displaying at the venue.
Guests open the link or scan the code
They use their phone's browser. There's no app to install and no account to create. They give their first name and they're ready.
Guests film or pick a video
Each guest films with the phone camera or picks a video already on the phone. Each video lasts 1 minute at most, and each guest can send up to 3 videos per phone. They can also add photos and written messages.
You close the collection and receive everything
Guests send during the party and for a few days after. You choose when the collection closes, and you can send guests a reminder before then. The first film is ready within 24 hours after the collection closes.
Ideas for your wedding video guest book
A video guest book works best when guests know where to find it. A few ways couples set it up:
- Share the link with your guests. Post it in your wedding group chat or send it by email, so guests have it on their phones during the reception and in the days after.
- Display the QR code at the venue. Print it on signs and table cards, and place it in several spots: the entrance, the bar, the tables. The Wedding Kit (wedding signage, sold on Amazon in the US, $79) is one option for signage.
- Give guests a simple prompt. Ask for a memory, a piece of advice, or a wish for your first year of marriage. A few sentences fill 1 minute well.
- Let guests pick a video. A short toast filmed during the party or a clip from the dance floor can be chosen from the phone and sent.
- Send a reminder. Guests who forgot during the reception can still send in the days after, until you close the collection.
For wording on your signs, see the guide on QR code sign wording.
What you receive
Four deliverables, all yours to keep.
Every video message on its own
Each video message arrives as a separate video, so you can watch and keep each guest's words.
The photo album
Guest photos go into an album that goes to you only. Guests see each other's photos only if you open the guest gallery.
The written messages
Guests can leave written messages. You also get them as a PDF book, digital only, never printed.
2 films
The first film is made automatically from the video messages. Then you build a personalized film mixing videos, photos and written messages. You choose the content, order, mood, music, color look, transitions and opening and closing text.
Messages guests might record
“I watched you two dance tonight and thought about the day you told me you'd met someone. Here's to every year ahead.”
“My advice after a long marriage: laugh at the small stuff and keep holding hands. Congratulations, both of you.”
“You've been my best friend since grade school, and today I gained another one. Welcome to the family.”
“My wish for your first year: lazy Sunday mornings, good dinners, and plenty of road trips.”
Looking for a paper guest book?
Many people search for a guest book and mean the paper kind. This page is about the video version: guests send messages from their phones, and nothing is printed or signed on paper.
Some couples keep a paper book on a table and add the QR code beside it. The two don't compete: the paper holds signatures, and the video guest book holds voices and faces.
